Redd’s Barbershop Web Design
After we finished building Redd's brand, it was time to make their website. A fun mix of modern and retro, this fully responsive site is already drumming up more business for Redd's
The new Redd's Barbershop visual identity is a mixture of classic and modern elements. Vintage typography combined with simple, but modern iconography creates an instantly recognizable mark that exudes class, sophistication and rugged charm.
Mix in some wood and canvas textures and you've got a site that feels alive with personality. We even built in some looping background video to give people a great visual of what Redd's does.
Web typography also plays a big role here, mirroring the brand and adding loads of feel.

Redd's provides high end barbershop services, and listing them in a way that was clear, concise and useful was a challenge. We ended up drawing inspriation from restaurant menus, showing the price and including a detailed description.
We also had to find a way to display Redd's unique membership program. It was fun to make this area feel more exclusive than the regular services. Join the club!
Of course, the Redd's site had to be accessible on mobile devices as well. We made sure the location, phone number and appointment schedulers we easy to find - and made it fully fluid and responsive.
This wasn't a huge site, so we used Statamic to build the backend and make it super easy for Redd's to update. This kept the cost down sped the site up as it doesn't rely on a database. Big thanks to our friend Troy McNeil at Brave Billy for helping us on the Statamic front.
