We were honored to work with Camden again and revitalize their website 5 years after the original launch. The code, design, and structure all got a massive cleanup - as well as making the site ready for mobile devices.
Five years ago, we helped Camden create a new brand and website that put them on the map and doubled their applicants immediately. It worked so well that no one even thought about a redesign until just recently.
In fact, there was so much that worked about the original design and content that we approached this as more of a "freshening up" than a total re-do. Our goals were:
Increase the speed of the site, simplifying and updating the underlying code structure
Make the site responsive so that it displays properly on all screen sizes
In the process, refresh the design, modernize it, updating the visual language that can be used for years to come.
Leave as much of the content structure intact as we can so we stay in good SEO standing, but cleaning it up as well
The result was really unique project where we left most of the front end markup the same and did at least half of the design in-browser.
47m's beautiful redesign of our site has led to more leads and increased our enrollment. They're a top notch business partner!

2Admissions
The new layout carried over to our high visibility pages like Admissions and Campus life. These acted as mini-portals to the most important areas of the site.
3Content
The majority of the site is made up of good old content pages, so we spent a lot of time re-working typography, cleaning up background patterns and images, and making it super readable.
4Responsive
Finally, we made sure the new design worked on all screen sizes. Since the original site, their mobile traffic had grown to over half of all visits, so making the site responsive was a big part of the re-design. We think it turned out great!
