Slyman Real Estate Website

June 2008

Slyman Real Estate needed a new site that effectively got people to buy and sell homes through them; as well as give their agents professional profiles. One problem they had with their previous site was that profiles were created for all their agents even if they weren’t filled out, so most of the agent’s pages were filled with broken links and no info at all. Not very professional! So with ExpressionEngine we created a custom member section that will only post the profile if the required fields are filled out. Once the initial login is setup, each agent can login and change their profile whenever they want. Very cool, eh?

Craftprofiles.com Website

April 2008

Craftprofiles.com is a sister site of SalesManage Solutions. This one was a bit tricky as we had to find ways to clearly define the product and its benefits without being over the top. Simple, plain text describing features along with some custom icons do the trick. There’s even a FAQ section that’s easily searchable, thanks to the ExpressionEngine backend. We also worked hard to make sure the registration and buying process was simple and fast. Put it all together and you’ve got a compelling case to buy some personality profiles!

SalesManage Solutions Website

April 2008

SalesManage Solutions came to us quite some time ago with some great projects, and we’re happy to report that we can finally showcase them in our portfolio. The work encompassed 3 sites and a web application so we’ve been busy! This particular one is the umbrella, if you will. The brand that all the others are based off of. Its goal was to establish a company that already was doing some great things on the web, but not branding them as theirs. SalesManage Solutions had to lead the users to the various services/products they offered, and also to the free materials in their blog and podcast. The style has been carried to the other two marketing sites so that if the user jumps to a product, they won’t feel like they’re far away from home. We utilized ExpressionEngine for the backend so that Lance and his team can make updates themselves.

EdgePoint Church Website

March 2008

You may remember we posted EdgePoint’s logo recently. Well, the new site has finally gone live! It’s extra grungy, just the way they wanted it. There’s a great photo gallery, podcast integration with iTunes and a full featured blog. Ashley and I are helping get the church off the ground (yeah that’s me playing guitar), so this one is close to our hearts.

Knoxville Leadership Foundation Website

January 2008

The Knoxville Leadership Foundation is wonderful organization that we were privileged to meet last year. We were contacted to bring their website up to date and set up a content management system (our favorite ExpressionEngine) so that they could manage the site themselves. The Robin Easter Group had developed a great look for their printed materials and they were kind enough to provide us with files to help keep things consistent. It finally went live this past Tuesday and has turned out to be one of the friendliest sites we have ever made.

RC Motor Company Website

November 2007

Pre-owned car dealerships often suffer from a severe lack of style. So when RC Motor Company asked us to do their site, we were excited to work with them in creating something unique, personal, and easy to use. We’ve built a custom ExpressionEngine back end to manage the inventory and image galleries so there’s no waiting to get new arrivals up on the website. We also designed their logo, business cards, and all the forms involved in the purchasing process.

Trinity Mortgage Website & Application

April 2007

We were very fortunate to work with Trinity Mortgage for our latest project. We were involved in the logo redesign, branding and complete site overhaul. Kudos to them for allowing us the creative freedom to give a mortgage company such a friendly, happy, good looking persona.

And as if all that isn’t enough, we also worked with Trinity to create what they call TMCINSIDE, a tool for borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, appraisers and underwriters to connect all in one place. All can check the status of their loan in realtime, be notified of potential hiccups in the process and have instant contact with each other, all from within the site. We’d love to show you screenshots, but obviously there’s some sensitive financial data involved. Guess you’ll need to have a loan with them to check it out so talk to them already!

Rhino Homes Website

December 2006

This project was a blast start to finish. From hand brushing the rhino icon with a japanese bamboo brush to creating the coolest, earthiest home building company identity I’ve ever seen, Rhino was a pleasure to work with. We even contributed some photography for the gallery section of the site. If you’re in the Knoxville area and need a custom home, we recommend you check these guys out.

Natural Addy Website & Store

November 2006

This one’s close to my heart! After reading some startling statistics, my wife and I decided that cloth diapers were definitely the best way to go with our little girl. The facts hit us so hard that my wife, Ashley, decided to start a business informing people of the risks involved with disposable diapers and even go so far as to sell cloth diapers herself. Throw in some handmade goodies from moms right here in Tennesee, and I think she’s on to something!

The store section was just added recently, complete with Paypal integration. The best part is, it’s all done with the Simple Commerce Module in Expression Engine so Ashley can log in and change whatever she wants.
