The CTS SalesProfile has a ton of expertise behind it. The algorithims and data being shown are complex, but the goal was to present it in a way that was easy to scan and understand. We went through multiple iterations before landing on a language that was simple and color-coded, but still showed the numbers necessary.
We were able to use incredibly modern HTML/CSS practices, graphing libraries and vector icon sets so that everything looks crisp on any resolution display. This also kept the build clean and light, with virtually no footprint only a few assets to download.
Not only did the reports need to look great on any screen, they had to be printable as well. This shaped how many of the graphs and charts were built, requiring a total re-think more than once for maximum backwards compatibility.
One of the biggest challenges was making data based reports like this fully responsive. That's right, you can log into your account on your phone, tablet or laptop and vew reports on any screen. For any professional on the go, this is a great feature. We were really excited that we made it work.
